Peru Retreat June 2028
Yoga, Community, & Adventure in Cusco, Peru
Join us in the heart of the Andes for an unforgettable yoga retreat centered around community, connection, culture, and adventure.
Based at Pachananda Retreat Center in Cusco, Peru, this retreat is an invitation to step away from the routines of everyday life and share something meaningful with people from around the world. You don’t need to be an experienced yogi, an avid traveler, or already know someone in the group. Everyone is welcome.
At the heart of this retreat is community. We’ll practice together, share meals, explore Cusco, experience Peruvian culture, venture into the Sacred Valley, and create plenty of space to simply spend time with one another. Our schedule is intentionally balanced so that the trip feels like a retreat. It is not a race from one activity to the next.
Retreat Life in Cusco
Our home base at Pachananda gives us space to settle in and experience Cusco at a slower pace. Retreat days will include time in the yoga shala for yoga, meditation, breathwork, and restorative practices, along with opportunities to relax, connect with the group, and explore the city.
Food will also be part of the experience. We’ll have opportunities to gather around the table and enjoy local food in Cusco, experiencing the city through its flavors, neighborhoods, markets, and culture.
Explore the History of Cusco
We’ll spend a full day exploring local archaeological sites, learning more about the extraordinary history and cultures of the Andes while experiencing some of the landscapes surrounding Cusco.
Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu
Our biggest adventure will be a three-day journey into the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
Along the way, we’ll experience the landscapes, communities, and archaeological wonders that make this part of Peru so remarkable, culminating in our visit to Machu Picchu.
Guests will have two ways to experience the journey. Those wanting a more active adventure can choose to hike the one-day Short Inca Trail, while those who prefer not to hike can bypass the trail and join the Machu Picchu walking tour. Both options allow you to be part of the larger group experience while choosing the adventure that feels right for you.
Come As You Are
This retreat is open to anyone, from anywhere in the world.
Come solo. Come with a friend or partner. Come as an experienced yogi or as someone who simply wants to move, travel, and connect.
Our intention is to create a welcoming community where people arrive from different places and backgrounds and leave having shared something extraordinary together.
Practice together. Eat together. Explore together. Experience Peru together.
